2X2 | A Double Bill of New Theatre

Chewing Productions presents 2X2 | A Double Bill of New Theatre on the 22nd, 23rd, and 24th of September 2023 at Theatre Next Door. Enjoy two original theatre performances created by two teams of theatre-makers featuring two stories exploring digital and physical connections. 'Re/Connect', written by Steffie Weenink and directed by Robyn Vella is a powerful two-hander exploring two people’s changing relationship with memories, intimacy, and each other. It features performances by Aidan Aquilina and Alexia Manduca. 'Blackout', by Diellza Ilgner with projection designs by Brendon Thearle, is an audiovisual and narrative journey exploring Kathrin’s media addiction and her digital/physical connections with herself and others. It features performances by Charlene Galea and Maria Grech. The performances also includes original sound design by Hairmilked and light design by Gianluca Bianco. Performances will run for 2 hours, including an interval between shows.
